Although surfaced, additional dressing and sanding of the boards may be needed to complete your project. Beech is grown in Central Europe and UK. The color varies from whitish to a pale brown. Sometimes it has a dark vein. Beech is often used for furniture, toys, musical instruments and flooring. Beech European Hardwood is available in: 4/4 or 8/4 thickness, 1-1/2″ to 4-1/2″ wide, and 3′ to 5′ long.
