Adverrun were approached by a number of different pilots to look for ways to push their conventional (single propeller) setups forward. They asked for more power and reduced weight.Adverrun have therefore modified their contra design for single propeller use by removing the gears. The outcome is a drive that delivers 3kw of power at a weight of 507 grams.The drive will spin typical propellers used in F3A (21″ x 14″ & 22″ x 12″). We have seen Tachometer readings in the range of 6200 – 6500 rpm.The Adverrun Single drive uses the Kontronic PYRO 650-78 motor. This motor has 10 poles.
